Contestants from American Idol’s live show traveled to Las Vegas to be mentored by 2005 American Idol winner and country music superstar Carrie Underwood at Resorts World Theatre, the site of her continuing residency Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency, on Sunday night.

The work she performs for veterans, which we were able to witness firsthand, is very inspirational. In any election, you want the good guys to win, since they’ll do good things for the world in other ways than just singing it together. My affection for her makes me hopeful that she will prevail.
